| During World War II, America's railroads were called upon
to transport the output of the United States industrial might. Troop trains
moved men and machines from training bases to ports on the East and West
coasts where they embarked on the long voyage to the front lines in the
European and Pacific Theaters. Now you can recreate the action with our
Flatcars with Military Loads. The vehicles are high quality pewter miniatures that are hand painted, decaled and weathered. The 40' flatcars are pewter castings, painted and lettered for the U.S. Army Transportation Corp or the US Navy. The decks are painted to represent faded wood and a light coat of weathering is applied to the entire car. All cars are on MicroTrain® trucks. |
